Phlebotomy is a vital skill in many areas of aesthetic medicine, and proper training ensures treatments are not only effective but carried out with the highest level of safety and professionalism. This course offers a comprehensive introduction to phlebotomy tailored to the needs of the aesthetic industry.

Following successful completion of the theoretical course and assessment, learners must complete 10 supervised blood draws under the supervision of a suitably qualified practitioner who is competent in phlebotomy. The supervising practitioner will be required to verify and sign off each successful venepuncture to demonstrate practical competence.

Once both the theoretical and practical competency requirements have been successfully completed, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion together with applicable CPD accreditation, enabling them to demonstrate competency for professional development and, where applicable, to obtain professional indemnity insurance in accordance with their insurer’s individual requirements.
