Description

Fractional C02 laser emit light at a wavelength of 10,600 nm, which is absorbed by water in the tissue. This absorption causes the water to heat up and eventually boil, leading to the evaporation of the targeted tissue. Additionally, some of the heat is absorbed by the surrounding tissue, resulting in coagulation and thermal stimulation of deeper skin layers. This process stimulates fibroblast activity and promotes the formation of new collagen, a process known as neocollagenesis.

The Fractional C02 laser provides a safe and effective non-ablative fractional procedure for deep skin resurfacing. This technique involves the precise and controlled removal of the epidermis and targeted sections of the dermis. The laser’s energy heats and selectively damages the skin, stimulating the production of new collagen. As a result, the skin becomes firmer and smoother.
